The Lilywhites don’t have a lot of options out in wide areas at the moment, but given how many midfielders they have, the fans are hardly calling for their club to bring in a quality winger considering the obvious gaps they have at full-back, which is why these recent rumours aren’t going down well.
[@Bild_Sport] | Tottenham Hotspur are now lining up a move for Valencia winger Ferran Torres in the upcoming January transfer window.
Spurs however could face strong competition from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund, with the player valued in the region of €20M.#THFC #COYS pic.twitter.com/P7uFwlX7TB

Those rumours are centred around the young Spanish winger, Ferran Torres. The Valencia man has been linked with a move to Tottenham by SportBild, via Sport Witness, although with a 20m euro price tag on the winger’s head, a lot of fans are happy to let Borussia Dortmund win this one.
The fans reluctance to sign the young Spaniard could come back to bite them, but given the lack of options at the back and the plethora of options in attacking midfield and in creative areas, it just doesn’t look like a tricky winger such as Torres would come in handy at the moment in north London.

Great. We can have another player join us that doesn’t get in the first team because we’ll continue to play our soon-to-be-out-of-contract players!

You mean his agent wishes we were lining up a move for him! We have RS HMS EL DA LM GLC all for 3 positions behind Kane already.

Poch would end up playing him defensively!
He hates width in the team or any flair

Let Dortmund have him and go for Sancho instead. If Dortmund buys Torres they would probably be ready for Sancho to go

The supporters aren’t at all convinced by Ferran Torres, although that’s as much down to his position as it is the player himself.
