With rumour mill news this week linking Tottenham Hotspur with an interest in West Bromwich Albion youngster Nathan Ferguson, it seems the transfer speculation has been well received amongst some in the fanbase.
The report originally stated that manager Mauricio Pochettino had already sent scouts to take a closer look at the impressive 19-year-old and it was said they had returned ‘raving’ about his qualities, and although the listed £10million fee was on the low side, his breakthrough campaign in 2019/20 at Championship level has certainly seen the praise go his way.
For Spurs, following the departure of Kieran Trippier and plenty having question marks over Serge Aurier, Kyle Walker-Peters and Juan Foyth for the right back spot, Ferguson does naturally tick a lot of boxes.
Taking to social media to discuss our potential interest in the player, and given the current climate with previously reliable seniors now struggling in their performances, the idea of some fresh blood has struck the right chord for plenty.
Yh he is the solution to our defensive crisis

Rather have an unknown kid that is willing to play for the club and give his all, rather than well known seniors that didnt performed

That's exactly what we need. Sick of polite weak Spurs. We need a arrogant winning mentality

This is our model. Build vs buy unless it's a crazy good deal. Even when we spend money it's knowing that they'll improve and value will go up
