With Troy Parrott a firm favourite with the fans, Tottenham Hotspur have another highly rated youngster making a name for himself and 20-year-old Jack Roles has been given an opportunity away from the club this year as he headed for League Two side Cambridge United during the summer transfer window.
To date, the youngster has made five starting appearances for Colin Calderwood’s side, with a further four showings from the substitutes bench. He’s also chipped in with two goals, with his second strike helping them to a point in last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Macclesfield Town.
With Spurs struggling of late under manager Mauricio Pochettino, and continuing (endless) speculation about Christian Eriksen, in recognition of Roles’ performances and our struggles in recent matches, plenty of fans want to see him recalled (along with summer signing Jack Clarke) at the earliest opportunity so we can inject some life back into the squad.
Play him over Eriksen. Atleast Roles might want to be here.

Bring him back. Give him and Parrot starts. Show these over paid first teamers what it means to play for the club.

Can we bring him back?

Fans hoping to see him get a run out on Tuesday evening against Northampton Town in the EFL Trophy would’ve been disappointed, but I believe he was only rested for the tie so should be back in action for them this weekend when they face Salford City.
