Tottenham Hotspur have found themselves linked pretty regularly with Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon so far this summer, and it’s one of those stories that just won’t go away on the rumour mill.
Fulham’s Financial Gamble Could Play Right Into Levy & Spurs Hands Ultimately
With claim and counterclaim on both the transfer fee for the 19-year-old, and the structure of any deal given at one point it was also said that we’d be making a double swoop on Craven Cottage and looking to bring his brother Steven in as well, the Telegraph claimed on Monday that we’d now had a breakthrough when it came to talks and the deal could possibly see Josh Onomah and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou head in their direction.
The report did state that they weren’t sure if they had been offered as part of the deal, or whether Fulham would make separate moves for them once they had the cash for Sessegnon and in fairness, it seems to lean more on the fact that neither player has travelled for our tour of Asia, but they do state ‘Fulham’s interest in’ the pair has eased negotiations along.
Reacting to the reports, plenty of fans felt that Daniel Levy would’ve again played a blinder here if the two players named had greased the wheels of getting a deal done for the young lad.
If that happens Levy should be done for fraud….

I’ve been critical of levy many times but how he’s managed this is beyond me, Unless Scott Parker still works for us on the sly ????

Hopefully, we close the deal soon before Fulham realise what they have agreed to…????????

So we shook on Sessegnon for £25m and then I convinced Khan to buy GKN and Onomah. You couldn’t make it up ???? pic.twitter.com/Xt2pKdgX6Z

Sessegnon's career could end 30 seconds after signing for us and this would still make it an excellent deal. https://t.co/sJ2xdjR5lu
