According to the Sun, Harry Maguire is a target of Spurs’ for a fee of around £60m as the summer window gradually approaches.
The season is over – Premier League wise – and whilst we gear up for the Champions League final there is bound to be plenty of transfer rumours concerning our club now.
Certainly, we need to add to the side and with question marks over the defence and particularly Toby Alderweireld, strengthening at the back could be needed.
Maguire is one of the best centre-backs outside the top six, then, and could be a decent signing with him strong in the air and the challenge, as well as being able to play from the back.
Yes, it could cost a lot of money but it would show ambition from us and could kick-off an exciting window where big signings are made.
