All Of A Sudden This Spurs Man Looks The Better Option – England Man Doesn’t Impress On Recall

Saturday saw Tottenham Hotspur travel to Brighton and Hove Albion’s Amex Stadium as we made our bid to not go four games without a win – maybe more importantly, not make the current run of form say four defeats on the spin.

We achieved just that with a relatively, albeit not completely, comfortable 2-1 victory with Harry Kane and Erik Lamela finding the back of the net, but having been left out of our Champions League clash with Inter Milan both Toby Alderweireld and Kieran Trippier made their returns to the starting lineup.

28-year-old Trippier didn’t have the best of days and he found his own performance on Saturday questioned by fans on social media.

Admittedly, from what I saw I wouldn’t have said he was at his best, but I’ve certainly seen worse on a football pitch and the above comments strike me as reacting to individual moments rather than being a proper summation of his entire game but we do all see games differently. I also appear to rate Solly March a little bit more highly than some as well it seems.
