A cut-price transfer deal appears on the table that Levy simply has to consider

|

The Champions League final is the last date on this season’s diary for us and we’re all surely excited to see what the lads can do against Liverpool.

It will be tough against them but we are one of the few that can cause them problems and it should be a close game for sure.

That in mind, though, we still need to add to our squad in the summer and it looks as though a very tempting deal has been placed at Daniel Levy’s table.

According to the Sun, we might be able to take Gareth Bale on loan from Real Madrid next season in a cut-price deal.

To re-sign him we’d have to deal with his £600,000-a-week wages but on a loan we can afford to pay him £250,000-a-week, over half his deal with Madrid.

And, with that, we’d have to pay £10m as a loan fee which seems steep for the season but, at the same time, look at player we’re dealing with.

Certainly, it must be tempting for Levy at least.
