Young Spurs Talent Gets A New Role At League Two Club

|

Highly rated Tottenham Hotspur youngster Jack Roles headed out of the club on Tuesday afternoon and he’ll now enjoy his first taste of senior football as he spends the remainder of the first half of the 2019/20 campaign out with League Two side Cambridge United.

The talented 20-year-old heads out for experience until the transfer window reopens in January and given how people speak about him from his performances in youth matches, it should be a very good spell for him and a significant learning curve that brings his game on again. Going out only until January is probably a good move and lets us reassess his development and game time.

With plenty of fans expecting him to take that level by storm (13 goals at Development level last season left him as top scorer), we may well see him pushed up into League One for the second half of the year as he looks to build on the impression he made in pre-season.
