Tottenham fans are certainly not used to seeing their players speak out against the manager or question any of the tactics that they’re set up in. However, that seems to be exactly what Moussa Sissoko has done, slating the midfield diamond shape that Mauricio Pochettino has been trialling.
Moussa Sissoko has admitted that the Spurs players are struggling with Tottenham's new formation.

The Frenchman, who made his comments whilst talking to RMC Sport, via ESPN, after the Bayern Munich defeat on Tuesday, was one of those who appeared to run out of gas against the German side, and now he’s come and claimed that Tottenham tire much quicker when playing that way.
Whether or not these comments prompt a reaction from Pochettino is yet to be seen, but what must happen is a change of shape when the club take on Brighton this weekend as it is certainly clear that the diamond is not working, and the players now may not be buying into it.

Been saying this… we look like we’ve got about half hour in the tank with that diamond

Another reason why he needs to ditch this formation! None of our players get anything out of it

Glenn Hoddle said exactly the same when commentating. Why can’t Pochetino see this?

The fans are just as keen to see a change as Sissoko seems to be and hopefully the 4-2-3-1 can make a return.
