Yet a new rumour has had some supporters scratching their head as Sky Sports News report that Tottenham, as well as Chelsea and Liverpool, are monitoring Brighton defender Ben White, who is currently out on loan at Leeds United this season.
Will Tottenham be active in the January window?
Yes! We have to be!
No! Daniel Levy won't spend
The 22-year-old centre-back has been solid for the Whites this campaign, with manager Marcelo Bielsa a big fan of the young defender with the Argentine boss once claiming via One Football that White’s passing is ‘not normal’ compared to what players in position should be able to do.
Despite impressing with one of the best sides in the Championship this season, lots of Spurs fans on social media were confused by the link to the Brighton youngster, with plenty taking to Twitter to showcase their frustration with the link…
