“Pure sensationalism” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans are annoyed with Adrian Durham’s latest attempt to wind them up.
Durham, as usual, came up with some nonsense about Spurs having to apologise to the rest of England because they were beaten 7-2 by Bayern Munich.
This is just another round of sensationalist rubbish from talkSPORT.
Durham has a reputation for trying to wind fans up, but this latest effort is pathetic.
Tottenham should have to apologise to their fans but no one else and the talkSPORT host is only saying such ridiculous things to get a reaction from people.
These Spurs fans are clearly sick of Durham.
See the best of the reaction below.
“Spurs have embarrassed English football in a way Arsenal never did.” ❌
“Spurs should apologise to all of us.” 😡
“The players aren’t playing for him. That is a massive, massive problem.” 💥@talkSPORTDrive says #THFC embarrassed English football last night. pic.twitter.com/4Rw7ZZkdAv

@SpursOfficial fans don’t rise to it he is just using us to get views up and if we bite he wins. It was an awful performance and everyone at spurs is ashamed but what a ridiculous comment saying we should come out and apologise to English football. That’s an idiotic statement

@SpursOfficial were dump last night. everyone can accept that. Poor performance and clinical finishing punished them hugely, making them look out of their depth and exposing many flaws. ‘Say sorry!’ Really? Durham needs to chill out with his Spurs issues!Pure sensationalism.

Here we go again. Inevitable click bait journalism from the king of the gutter press once again. You and your rambling sidekick are laughable. Rambling inflammatory garbage. @5liveSport for much more informed debate every time.

@pokeefe1 Durham is an absolute wind up. He’s an example of our media in general, you’d never here any other country in the world be so negative about one of their teams prior to a match, breeds negativity seeking attention.

Many Spurs fans are refusing to be irritated by Durham’s comments.
Arsenal lost 10-2 on aggregate. So they’ve both done their share of embarrassment for English football to be fair

Other Tottenham supporters are pointing out Arsenal’s results with Bayern.
