Reacting to news that former Spurs striker Fernando Llorente recently won the Coppa Italia with new club Napoli, plenty of Lilywhites have displayed mixed reactions – ranging from congratulations to sarcasm that the Spaniard has already clinched a trophy following his north London departure.
Llorente, who scored 13 goals in 66 appearances for the club as per Transfermarkt, recently parted company with Spurs after signing from Swansea City in 2017.

Putting pen-to-paper on a deal with Napoli through a free transfer, Llorente has since gone on to bag just four goals and an assist for his new club over 24 outings, but the 6ft 4 colossus has now won a trophy with his new club – beating Juventus 4-2 on penalties in the Coppa Italia final in mid-week.
Flocking to the news, many Spurs supporters have hilariously given their take – claiming that it’s ‘typical’ he has found success just a season after departing.
