The transfer window will soon be upon us and you can sense that just by the increase in rumours and reports that are doing the rounds right now.
Of course, Spurs still have the rather important matter of the Champions League final to deal with later on in the coming weeks but adding to the squad is a task that the club must embark on quickly too.
In a potential boost for our hopes of signing Ryan Sessegnon, too, Danny Mills has said that he will join our club to learn from Mauricio Pochettino.
Quoted by Football Insider, the former Manchester City and Leeds United full-back had this to say:
“He will go to Spurs and he will learn from Mauricio Pochettino.”
That, for sure, is certainly something we’d like to see.
He perhaps didn’t have as good a season he would have liked this year with Fulham but he is still a class act and under Poch he’ll flourish.
Let’s hope Mills is spot on.
