Plenty of Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been reacting to a recent transfer report as the club have been linked with a Hugo Lloris replacement.

According to Estadio Deportivo, via Football Italia, Spurs are keen on signing Roma goalkeeper Pau Lopez, who has previously been on loan at the club, this summer.

The Spaniard was brought in by ex-manager Mauricio Pochettino, raiding his old club Espanyol for the 2016/17 campaign. However, Lopez failed to make a senior appearance for the north London side but did seven times for the u23 squad where he kept three clean sheets, via Transfermarkt.

Do Spurs need to replace Hugo Lloris?

Absolutely!

Not just yet

No way!

It’s claimed that the Serie A outfit would sell the 25-year-old for the right price with a €40m (£36m) fee mentioned.

This season, Lopez has been Roma’s first-choice between the sticks, replacing Liverpool’s Allison. He’s managed to keep nine clean sheets in 34 appearances in all competitions.

Some of the Spurs faithful would like to see the club make a move for the shot-stopper whilst others slammed their former boss for not giving him a chance and subsequently signing him all those years ago.
