Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been left divided over a fresh transfer report.
According to Fussball Transfers, Spurs are interested in signing Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic this summer.
The 31-year-old is currently on loan at Bundesliga front-runners Bayern Munich, who can make his deal permanent for €20m (£17.9m) but they appear unwilling to pay more than half that (£8.95m).
It’s claimed that the Serie A outfit would, however, accept around €15m (£13.5m) and that talks will happen in due course.
Should Spurs sign Ivan Perisic for £13.5m?
Yes, 100%
No, pass!
Many Spurs fans have been reacting to the news on social media – on the one hand, some would like to see the veteran arrive in north London as he’d bring a winners’ mentality and can still cut it at the top, whilst on the other hand, others believe it would be unnecessary given the sheer volume of wingers at the club.
Jose Mourinho is clearly a big fan of Perisic as he tried to sign the Croatian for Manchester United in 2017, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Per Transfermarkt, the old school wide man has provided six goals and eight assists across 28 appearances in all competitions – and played 86 minutes against Spurs in the Champions League earlier this season.
Here’s the reaction from the Lilywhites faithful…
Not a striker and is 31. I'd rather sign Fraser on a free if we're signing a winger. Probably would demand high wages as well.

Unnecessary signing. We’re overloaded in midfield although we need a DM and offload 2-3.

Would be a quality premier league striker. This would be a great signing for us. Proven goal scorer / aggressive forward

This is more of a joke than us being linked to Haikimi 😂

What do you think? Does Perisic in a Spurs shirt appeal to you?
