One of those players who stepped up and shone was the sublime Serge Aurier, who looks like a man reborn under the management of Jose Mourinho, as he scored his first goal under the Portuguese tactician against the Greek side and won the appreciation of the fans by doing so.
The Ivorian has well and truly proved what he’s capable of during his two appearances under Jose. He bagged an assist against West Ham and has now scored against Olympiacos, making an amazing start to life post-Pochettino, and the fans are loving it.
