Spurs youngsters look set to leave the club in January

|

It has been reported by Football.London that both Bryan Gil and Japhet Tanganga will be allowed to leave the club in January.

Gil is likely to leave on loan, having been set to join Valencia on loan back in the summer but the deal collapsed due to Spurs not finding an adequate replacement for the Spaniard.

The winger has only accumulated 42 minutes of gametime so far this season – coming on as a substitute five times. Gil has impressed in patches when he has come off the bench – shown by his performance against Frankfurt – but in many fans’ eyes, he seems too lightweight for the English game.

Tanganga has played even less minutes than Gil so far this season racking up only 17 minutes of action – coming on in Tottenham’s 2-0 over Marseille.

Despite making 19 appearances last season – his highest ever amount in a Spurs shirt – Tanganga’s career in North London looks to have stalled slightly.

Like Gil, the defender looked set to leave North London in the summer with both AC Milan and Bournemouth having held in interest in the 23-year-old.

However, as reported by Football.London any move for Gil and Tanganga would only come about if Spurs were able to find suitable replacements.

Not surprised. Young players stand no chance under Conte. 90 seconds of play to run the clock down is totally demoralising. Will be so glad when Conte goes back to Italy.
