Spurs Will Be Bayern For Some Revenge – Time To Find Out How Far We’ve Come – Match Thread

|

Fresh from our more than comfortable and, more like ourselves, victory over Burnley on Saturday, Tottenham Hotspur again had a quick turnaround in the fixture list and manager Jose Mourinho had to quickly prepare for our trip to Germany to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Despite more victories than defeats under Mourinho so far, nobody, absolutely nobody, will be taking this clash lightly as the less said about our previous meeting with them back at the beginning of October is probably for the better really.

With a good defensive shot of confidence from Burnley’s clean sheet, allied to far improved attacking performances in more recent matches, I imagine most fans will be going into the game looking for a point, and accepting that anything more than that will purely be a bonus on the day.

We’ve seen both the best and worst of Spurs in flashes so far this year, let’s hope the recent improvements continue and at worst Wednesday evening ends with us knowing the players put in a proper shift.

Bayern Munich...

Win - Revenge Is Ours

Lose

Draw - That Would Prove Improvement
