Moussa Sissoko scored for the second time in three matches in Saturdays 5-0 win over Burnley after he latched on to Harry Kane’s pass and poked the ball past Tom Pope for Spurs’ fifth.
Many have been surprised by Sissoko’s recent goalscoring form as he had failed to score in over two years prior to his first of the season against Bournemouth last weekend.
The Frenchman also revealed in an interview with the club that he is in competition with teammate Serge Aurier over who can score the most goals this season. Fans have been reacting to the bet between the two players as Sissoko made it 2-1 with his goal over the weekend.

Let’s hope they take it very seriously, and keep trying to score.

With Mourinho choosing to play Sissoko on the right-wing in recent weeks, a decision which has seen his form lift drastically, some fans have been praising Mourinho’s choice, but it may be bad news for Aurier.
Serge never thought Sissoko would one day turn into right winger.

Now the gaffer, should play sissoko, on the right wing. He is very strong, fast paced, and as time goes on he is going to score lots of goals, trust me! He is not good at all as a defensive midfielder please!!!

Spurs fans seemed keen to get involved in the bet between Sissoko and Aurier and this relaxed behaviour has been typical recently since Mourinho’s arrival. With Sissoko taking up his new attacking position, Aurier could struggle to match the Frenchman’s goals by the end of the season.
