Spurs Star Out Until March, Don’t Be Ridiculous He’s Already Back In Training

|

I thought the news earlier this morning about the potential timely return of Tottenham Hotspur duo Harry Kane and Dele Alli was good news, but it’s been reported this morning that our England striker is that ahead of the original timeframe placed on his ankle ligament damage, that he actually returned to group training on Monday.

According to a host of outlets, such as ESPN and Sky Sports, albeit all based on ‘understands’ or ‘according to sources’ have claimed that the 25-year-old made his return to group training yesterday and it has significantly boosted those claims that he could be back for this weekend’s clash Premier League clash with Burnley at Turf Moor.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino, when talking up how ahead of schedule, had hinting Burnley was a possibility describing his progress as ‘unbelievable’ but with a full week of training under his belt, it’s even more likely.

With Spurs suffering no ill effects from his absence when it comes to the league and Champions League campaign, this is still a massive boost for us, even if Poch is cautious and doesn’t restore him to the starting eleven just yet.
