Tottenham have beaten off two Premiership rivals to sign 16 year old Czech Republic youth striker Tomas Pekhart from Slavia Prague.
Pekhart will join Spurs on a three year deal from July 1st. There is also a option of a further two years if he impresses.
Sporting director Damien Comolli was delighted to sign Pekhart and said, ‘Tomas has the combination of physical presence,agility and ability’
Slavia spokesman Alexander Kliment admitted that Spurs had been following Pekhart`s progess for a considerable period of time and added that the deal was ‘proof of our good work with talented young players’
