With Tottenham Hotspur fans immersing themselves in the usual range of bizarre summer transfer rumours we get at this time of the year in an effort to distract us from the upcoming trip to Madrid to face Liverpool in the Champions League Final, there was some great news this week on an injury front.
With a few doubts over players as we head towards our chance for history, centre-half Jan Vertonghen took to social media this week and posted up a simple comment on his Instagram account, and fans would’ve loved it.

As June 1st rolls (slowly) around in the calendar, seeing the trio back in training, albeit light training at this stage, is surely a positive though even if we only look at strength and options on the bench, as opposed to straight first team returns.
