The club have went with the slogan ‘Unrepeatable’ which is ironic as many are hoping that is exactly the case due to the outlandish, psychedelic and colourful design.
With Davinson Sanchez modelling the shirt, many are confused as to why the marketing team have decided to use a player who is seemingly destined for the exit door this summer – as a swap deal is being lined-up for Atalanta’s Cristian Romero.
But the main criticisms about the kit have come from the risky design, which has left many Spurs fans speechless – but others drooling.
One Spurs fan said: “The worst I have ever seen in over 40 years. Itโs a failed secondary school science experiment.”

Some supporters are fans of the kit though, with Craig saying: “I donโt hate this. Iโm not gonna buy it, but then, Iโm 40 years old. Football tops arenโt for me. But while this is very different, and certainly not traditional, itโs a bit of fun, isnโt it? And football is supposed to be fun. Thatโs why we sacked Mourinho.”

However, our favourite tweet came from Matt, who said: “Looks like something you find in the bargain bin at sports direct!”

While the fanbase is seemingly split down the middle when it comes to the shirt, many are outraged that the elite kit once again is starting at above ยฃ100, with the replica edition starting at an extortionate price of ยฃ70.
