Spurs Duo Deserve Special Mentions – A Combined 10 Shots & 7 Key Passes As They Light Up The New WHL

|

Tottenham Hotspur got back to winning ways on Wednesday evening as we opened the new White Hart Lane Stadium in some style with a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace in our first official game back on home soil.

Goals from Son Heung-Min and Christian Eriksen put their names into our history books, but the three points were all important after our recent wobbles in the Premier League.

With Spurs dominating the telling statistics from the game, Whoscored reflected that in their player ratings from the game.

Eriksen took their star man award with his goal and assist on the day earning him a score of 8.51 and Sonny followed quickly behind in second spot with 8.37.

Completing the top five best performers in their system were Jan Vertonghen (7.82), Kieran Trippier (7.63) and Ben Davies (7.63).

Special mentions for Moussa Sissoko, Dele Alli and Hugo Lloris who all received seven-plus scores for their efforts on the day as well.

All eyes to the Champions League now.
