Spurs Aim To Bounce Back Against The Foxes – Match Thread

|

It’s been a mixed week for Tottenham Hotspur fans. We had the fabulous 4-0 victory over Crystal Palace, but then we capitulated a two goal lead in the Champions League against Olympiakos. This weekend sees us travel to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester City and although it’s stating the obvious, manager Mauricio Pochettino and Spurs fans will be demanding far better.

In terms of team news, we continue to be without Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso and it’s the shortest injury update I can remember for a while – which I guess is something.

Leicester will be a tough game, as they sit fifth in the Premier League table after five games have been played, level on eight points, but with all the criticism flying around, not just from Poch but also some of the players and the fans, following the last match – a repeat of the Palace performance is sorely needed.

Whether we get one, sadly, has to be open for debate.
