Spurs agree deal for Chelsea youngster

|

Amongst all the speculation surrounding Pedro Porro’s transfer to Spurs, the Lilywhites have actually been completing another deal in the background.

This comes as Spurs look to set to complete a deal for Chelsea youngster Jude Soonsup-Bell, with the 19-year-old set to undergo a medical today.

The striker will slot straight into Tottenham’s youth setup after rejecting offers from across Europe – as well as Manchester City.

Joining the Chelsea youth ranks in 2015, Sonnsup-Bell has been held in high regard while plying his trade at Cobham but is set to leave the Blues, with his deal set to expire this summer.

Tottenham’s move for the youngster is with the aim to bolster the club’s youth setup, with Tottenham’s youth sides struggling in recent times, shown by the fact they currently sit second bottom of the Premier League 2.

Soonsup-Bell will hopefully turn the under-21s fortune around after already contributing to three goals in only 122 minutes of Premier League 2 football, for Chelsea this season (via Transfermarkt).

The youngster who made his professional debut under Thomas Tuchel last season will move to North London on a free transfer with Chelsea holding a sell-on clause (via Football London).
