Once again Spurs are in the press again for the wrong reasons.
This time it’s the Mirror saying that: Dimitar Berbatov set for humiliating return to Tottenham’.
This is disrespectful to the extreme, insinuating that because no other team has come in for him, that he should have to lump it with Spurs. Any decent journalist would see that the headline should be around the part played by his agent.
This all began with his agent dropping hints that every team under the sun was interested in his client. As with most stories in the press, the has morphed into him losing out and being humiliated by possibly playing another season at Spurs.
This kind of story impacts club and player, with no mention of the agent in this saga, he’s in the clear. I hope that over the next few weeks, his agent is taken to the cleaners for all the problems he has caused.
