Report: Spurs trio could potentially leave this summer before European window closes

Tottenham trio Danny Rose, Serge Aurier and Christian Eriksen could all still leave the Premier League side before the closure of the European transfer window.

The Times report that the three Spurs players, who have all been linked with moves away from the north London side, could still depart this summer, with Aurier in particular likely to leave the club this window as teams from France and Italy are interested in the defender, who is keen to leave for first-team football.

Eriksen has in recent weeks been heavily linked with a move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. BBC Sport reported days before the closure of the English transfer window that Manchester United were in talks with the Danish playmaker about a potential deal, but the Spurs midfielder prefers a move to La Liga, something ESPN back up by claiming that the 27-year-old has his mind made up on a move to either Real Madrid, Barcelona or Juventus.

Rose, on the other hand, looked set to join Watford on deadline day when the England international turned up at the Hornets training ground to complete a move as reported by Sky Sports News, but Spurs then pulled the plug on the deal, resulting in the left-back return to the north London club for the start of the new season.

Deadline day also saw Spurs sign two new players in the form of Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis on loan as well as Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham for a reported fee of £25m according to BBC Sport, a seemingly long-term replacement for Rose.

Aurier has also been linked with a move away from Spurs this summer, with the likes of PSG and AC Milan reportedly interested in the former Ligue 1 defender according to The Daily Mail, who has had a troubled time in the Premier League under Mauricio Pochettino.
