Report – Spurs Meet With Portuguese Internationals Agent As Midfield Speculation Continues

|

Tottenham Hotspur fans will be keenly aware of all the ‘agent’ meetings the club are supposedly having at this moment in time in London and this week it was claimed we had held another concerning the speculation linking us with a move for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes.

Pretty quickly following on from the rumoured Lorenzo Pellegrini speculation, the Telegraph claimed at the end of the week that we had met with Miguel Pinho on Wednesday to firm up our interest in Portugal international Fernandes.

The highly rated 24-year-old seems to have been suggested as an alternative option to the long running speculation linking us with Real Betis’ Giovani Lo Celso.

The report claims that we met with Pinho last month as well but with speculation linking him with Manchester United, we are keeping our hat in the ring whilst prioritising right back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, which is an interesting claim given we are supposedly prioritising Tanguy Ndombele.

But the rumour mill isn’t known for actually being accurate is it.

Sky Sports are already reporting that having now held the meeting, we have cooled our interest.
