Tottenham youngsters Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga could both leave the in the January window with Jose Mourinho prepared to send several youngsters out on loan.

The Evening Standard report that the Spurs duo were both blocked from leaving the north London club in the summer by former manager Mauricio Pochettino as the Argentine boss believed that the two youngsters would benefit more from training under the staff at the club rather than potentially playing regular first-team football.

Will Mourinho's give youth players a chance?

Yes

No

The report goes on to say that with Mourinho now at the club, Skipp and Tanganga, as well as other youngsters at the club, could leave Tottenham on loan when the January transfer window opens in three weeks.

The Spurs duo, who both represent England at youth level, have both played first-team minutes for Tottenham this season, with Skipp brought into the senior squad last year by Pochettino and then being promoted from the academy whilst Tanganga impressed for the Premier League side in pre-season.

Both players are seen as potential first-team players by Mourinho, and the Portuguese manager is seemingly taking a different approach to managing a club with the former Manchester United boss keen on promoting youth into the first-team with Troy Parrott reportedly set to start against Bayern Munich this week as reported by The Daily Mail.

And with Skipp and Tanganga playing in areas of the pitch that are already stocked with talent as charts from Transfermarkt, a short-term loan away from north London and getting first-team minutes in the EFL would be a smart move for the two youngsters.

The Tottenham youngsters are at the part of their careers where they should be playing regular senior football to improve as players on the pitch, and Mourinho is making the right move seeking loan spells for the duo could one day be first-team players for the Premier League club.
