Pochettino Names Starting XI As Spurs Look To Create History – Updated

|

It’s almost time for kickoff as Tottenham Hotspur look to overturn a 1-0 deficit in the Champions League Semi-Final affair with Ajax.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino continues to juggle injuries when it comes to the players available for selection for the tie, but with a stronger finish to the first leg at White Hart Lane, there is naturally optimism that we can finish the job tonight at the Johan Cruyff Arena.

That’s not to say it won’t be a difficult game, but we created enough chances in the second period to have taken something from the game, and despite all the glowing praise Ajax receive for their style of play, they created less than we did.

Son Heung-Min should be out to prove a point given his weekend disappointment, and well, it’s a case of keeping everything crossed.

Christ we did it!
