Pochettino has concerns going into weekend clash

|

As quoted by Football.London, manager Mauricio Pochettino has admitted he has got some concerns going into this weekend’s game with Bournemouth.

The top four race – if you can call it that given how teams are limping to the finishing line – is still going and though we have a good chance of making one of those spots, we still need to win our final two games.

It’s Bournemouth up next, then, and they can play without pressure after another good season, whilst we are in between Champions League games without a lot of players.

Indeed, the Argentine admits it’s a decisive period and has also said that it is a problem.

He said:

“The problem now is it’s a decisive period for us. It’s a key moment. Playing the second leg of the semi-final and playing Saturday against Bournemouth.”

How Poch balances the squad remains to be seen but it is clear that we have a few problems going into this game later on.

I still think we can win it, but it is going to be a tough one.
