Spurs started their must-win Champions League game against Olympiakos poorly, quickly finding themselves down 2-0 in the first half and looking unlikely to get their way back into the fixture anytime soon, which was when Mourinho decided to make an early change.

The Portuguese manager opted to take Eric Dier off with Christian Eriksen entering the game just before the half-hour mark, and it proved to be a game-changing plot by Mourinho as Spurs quickly began to find their feet in the game with an extra creative midfielder on the pitch, resulting in Tottenham winning 4-2.
