With most Tottenham Hotspur eyes on Gareth Southgate’s England selections earlier today, Spurs have another reason to celebrate with news that highly rated Academy product Troy Parrott continues his own rise in the game and has been given a maiden call up to the Republic of Ireland Under 21s.
Grateful 🙏💚 https://t.co/cAKZvw1Z73

The 17-year-old attacker has been making a name for himself in recent times and although his 2018/19 campaign has been slightly hampered with an injury, he has been training with manager Mauricio Pochettino’s first team group and has travelled regularly as our 19th man as he continues his education.
Having made strides in our youth setups, today sees him involved in Eire’s 23 man squad at Under 21 level for the first time and it should be a significant boost for the lad as he returns to fitness and having scored at every other international level so far, the assumption is it’ll only be a matter of time before he continues that as he makes an additional step up above his age.
Good luck ????
