Tottenham’s 2019 has been a year of massive underperformance defined by a huge achievement. The form has been woeful throughout, yet the Champions League final they made it to was a moment to remember, and as we near the end of the year Heung-Min Son has received a Ballon d’Or nomination.
A 2019 #BallondOr nomination for Heung-min Son!
Congratulations, Sonny. https://t.co/6LLVjlkiYB

The South Korean superstar has been in fine form for the Lilywhites even when the club haven’t held the same high standards as the former Bayer Leverkusen winger. So far this year Son’s bagged himself 20 combined goals and assists in 34 games this year, Transfermarkt, scoring big goals along the way.
The fans have got a lot of time for Son and absolutely adore the 27-year-old. The chances are that he won’t beat the likes of Lionel Messi, Virgil van Dijk and Cristiano Ronaldo in the voting for the award, but his nomination is certainly deserved, and the fans all know it.

The Spurs fans cannot get enough of Son, and you can bet that if it went down to a fan vote the South Korean would have a good go.
