It has been a transfer saga that has engulfed Tottenham for the best part of 12 months, but now it looks like Christian Eriksen will finally be leaving the club after so much talk and speculation.

Fabrizio Romano reported last night that Eriksen’s agent had met representatives of Inter Milan in the Italian city, with a move set to be completed in a matter of days that will see the Danish maestro end his time at Spurs to make a move to the Serie A giants.

Although many Tottenham fans have been keen for Eriksen to make the move away from the club, there were a few supporters on social media who were sad to see the attacking midfielder depart in this manner after all the 27-year-old had done for Spurs in his six seasons.
