No to VAR but time for Poch to deploy KWP?

I found myself getting confused last night watching the game.

Clearly, VAR is not something that has been perfected right now and, though I think there is room for it as it sorts out controversial decisions, it needs to be improved.

Certainly, I`d like it to be clearer to us fans as to what`s going and a much quicker process but that, of course, is something for the powers that be to sort, and we`ll just have to get on with it.

One thing that also became apparent to me, though, was that we should be looking to employ Kyle Walker-Peters more in the coming months of the season.

We know him more as a full-back and that`s where I see him personally playing for us in the future, but it was interesting to see him come on for Lucas Moura who, by the way, I`m still not too sure about.

Anyway, we`ve another home game this weekend before Juventus and with a few defensive injuries I think there`s scope for KWP to come into the side against Huddersfield.

Toby is out whilst Jan is also a doubt for Saturday – though he could be ready for Juve next week.

I`d rather, then, that we didn`t risk anymore injuries to senior defenders against the Terriers this weekend and so I`d play Walker-Peters.

It`s not even that much a risk, too, as I think he`s more than capable of being solid enough in games like the one against the Yorkshire side – with all due respect to them.

Then, we`re keeping Kieran Trippier or Danny Rose fresh for the Italian side next week which, in my eyes, is our biggest game so far, this season by a long way.
