According to a report from Turkish outlet Fanatik, Spurs target Vedat Muriqi wants a move to north London following recent links – resulting in some Lilywhites supporters lambasting the player on social media.
Muriqi, who has started 24 games for current club Fenerbache this season, scoring 13 goals and assisting four others, is reportedly on Jose Mourinho’s radar as he searches for back up options who can suitably stand-in for star striker Harry Kane.
Fanatik also recently claimed that Spurs and Lazio are keen on a summer swoop for the forward – with our club apparently proposing a £22 million purchase in time for next season.
Reacting to this latest link, these Tottenham fans aren’t particularly enthusiastic over potentially signing the 26-year-old – with supporters labelling him the ‘new Llorente‘ and a ‘Soldado 2.0‘.
Should we sign Vedat Muriqi?
Get him in
No, not another Soldado
Judging by these remarks, it’s safe to say that Muriqi doesn’t exactly land highly in our estimations as a fan base – find all of their best comments down below.

We’ve been here before with very similar players & imo he’s a good player but I just don’t see him at Spurs in fact he kinda reminds me of Soldado 😄 pic.twitter.com/jmE9MOplK8
