New free attraction opened at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

|

An exhibition has opened inside Warmington House at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium today, which celebrates the relationship between art and football, called ‘BALLS’.

The building the exhibition is housed in is part of the Tottenham Experience, and there you will be able to see a collection of football sculptures made by reputable artists brought together by OOF, a magazine dedicated to the same relationship.

With already the Dare Sky Walk (which you can now do at night) and Edge attractions on top of the stadium tours and incredible club shop, the gallery is free to enter and will add to your experience during your visit.

OOF founder Eddy Frankel, said: “The aim is to create a space for contemporary art, but away from the mainstream art world – a place where everyday football fans can encounter art in an approachable, intelligible, non-judgemental way.

“At the same time, OOF wants to bring art and art lovers to a deprived area of the city. Future plans include a community outreach programme and the establishment of an artist residency, which will invite artists to spend time in the area and interact with its community.”

Warmington House was previously an at-risk building due to it’s derelict state, but after being restored, it has become an exciting attraction for fans and tourists to visit as they make their way around the outstanding stadium.
