According to an update courtesy of RMC Sport journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi, Tottenham are in the race to sign Lille striker Victor Osimhen along with frontrunners Napoli and another unnamed club – prompting some Spurs supporters to applaud the ‘good news‘ on Twitter.
Osimhen, who bagged 18 goals in all competitions for the Ligue 1 side this season before the division was cut short due to recent events, could be a prestigious alternative to current Lilywhites forward Harry Kane – especially given the fact Kane has suffered through injury problems over 2019/2020.
