Legends Lose But The Occasion Sees Spurs Win

|

With most eyes on Tottenham Hotspur’s trip to Anfield to face Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, just over 40,000 fans made the trip to White Hart Lane for our second test event at our new stadium.

A team of Spurs legends took to the pitch as we hosted Inter Forever and with the likes of Paul Gascoigne, Jurgen Klinsmann and Rafael van der Vaart on display, it was a trip down memory lane for some fans, and a new experience for those of a younger generation.

Spurs ultimately lost out 5-4 on the day, but the game wasn’t about the final result, it was a nod to our past as we now look to the future with the first ‘real’ match returning to our home soil when we face Crystal Palace in the Premier League clash.
