Hi TK trust you’re well chum and happy Easter.
I think your comments have nailed it.
I feel its, all about touching distance of Europe, hopefully CL.
But we do need to bring in some players in Contes’mould over the TW.
I’d argue 5 to 7 players + secure our loanees.
I do think the purse stigs will be opened.
However we do need, the dosh for N’Dombers, LoCeslo, Dele and a few others in order to boost our spending.
Unfortunately I don’t see us getting much for either Dele or N’Dom given their erratic (at best) performances.
This could be our stumbling block.
On the plus side there is the likes of Ericksen and a few others who could be on a free over the summer.
    It’s all ifs and buts
    But hope you’re right.

If a team is set up purely to defend and they do it well enough then the result should be nil nil, but against both Wolves and Brighton we lost the game. Over simplifying and making excuses won’t work if you have any real ambition.

    • Geofspurs says:

jod …. if a team sets up to defend and they do it well …. the opposition (if they have aspirations) will eventually have go for a win even if it means they could lose. That’s the risk. To dare is to do. that’s pretty simple.

Jod we all see things differently
    And TBH
It’s almost not worth replying to.
However, I feel this season, particularly since Conte has arrived, we have punched way above our weight.
There are those, yourself included, who just want to give the team a kicking at any juncture.
We got to 90 min at 0-0 they got a fortunate break and scored, that does not nullify in any way the fact that we couldn’t get past, their parked bus, we had a bad day at the office, couldn’t find a way to lift our game, simple as, no excuses, just what happened.
Same as the fact we have beaten that team twice this year already.
We are 4th where are Brighton??
As I have said its just margins the bounce of a ball a poor Refs decision which wins or loses games at this level.
But you carry on chum, with your negativity.
