Spurs striker Harry Kane has returned to training with the rest of the squad today, after initially doing some individual work to catch up with the rest of his teammates.
Speculation on the England captain’s future has been rife, due to Manchester City’s interest in him and desire to bring him to the Etihad Stadium – however the Premier League Champions aren’t just £50 million away from Spurs’ valuation, but also three points behind in the table after losing 1-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

Despite the media’s continuing campaign to add fuel to the fire, Spurs boss Nuno claimed that Kane is getting ready to help Spurs – not another team.
“What we know is Harry is with us and he is preparing himself to help the team,” said Nuno. “Yes, Harry, like Bryan [Gil], Cristian Romero, they joined us later.
“Harry is preparing himself and when he’s ready he’ll join the group and help the team.”

Many expect the striker to return to the match day squad either this Thursday against Pacos de Ferreira, or on Sunday against Wolves, but it may take some time for him to return back to his peak condition.
‘The delay [in his return to training], all these things, I think Harry needs to work,’ continued Nuno.
“He worked today and he will keep on working until he can help the team. Players who have had not too many sessions need more work.”
Harry Kane can't turn up to training, but Danny Rose went to support the u23s he was sent to train with last season.
Even after leaving the club, he's still class 🤝🏻👏🏻 https://t.co/XGNJyZCTlm

The Kane transfer saga is expected to heat up over the next few days, but as Spurs saw against City, they seem a lot more desperate for the deal than us due to their lack of a clinical finisher in the box – and Daniel Levy could potentially up his asking price even more.
