It’s been a while coming, but Juan Foyth is finally back in the first-team after nearly three months out with an ankle injury.

The Argentina international made his long-awaited return to football with Tottenham this week in the club’s 5-0 romping of Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League, with Foyth making his first appearance of the season as the 21-year-old defender missed the start of the season due to an ankle injury the youngster picked up against Bayer Munich in pre-season as reported by BBC Sport.
And fans were delighted to have Foyth back amongst the senior squad after such a lengthy spell out on the injury table, with supporters taking to social media to welcome the South American defender back to the team.
