With Tottenham Hotspur dropping crucial points in the Premier League title race as we made the trip to Turf Moor to face Burnley on Saturday, one big fall out from the game was the reaction of manager Mauricio Pochettino at the fulltime whistle and plenty are now expecting the typical Football Association fine for him having the temerity to get a little bit emotional.
Confronting the referee Mike Dean on the pitch after the final whistle, plenty of fans are wondering exactly what Dean had said given Pochettino was originally walking away before turning around even more incensed and although that seems to have been lost on the pundits criticising his out of character remonstrations, a number of fans picked up on it on social media after the game.
Pochettino has already stated that the hopes of lifting the league title are now over, but the ultra-optimistic will be looking at Liverpool dropping points at the weekend and how that may give us another in given the matches that remain – for others it makes the defeat even more bitter.
Deans had an agenda against spurs ever since people said he celebrated our goals after his advantages. Gone out of his way to prove he’s not pro spurs, shouldn’t be aloud to officiate spurs games

Think about how much you despised Mike Dean before today's game. Now think about how much more you despise him after the run-in with Poch. How can this guy credibly ref another Spurs game?

No. But loved Poch going at him because he did make some braindead calls. Very enjoyable

Mike Dean's the worst ref!

Mike Dean is possibly the worst ref in football league, he should only ref Sunday league football. He made some awful decisions. #MikeDeanforthesack.

Pochettino is the complete professional. If Pochettino is angry with Mike Dean, you can be 100% certain Dean provoked him deliberately. It would be good for the game if @premierleague fined Dean. #finemikedean

The @FA seriously need to sort out their officials. If Mike Dean has said something which has offended Poch then the governing body need to take action

Dean was in line to be the fourth official for the trip to Chelsea on Wednesday evening but it has now been confirmed that he has been replaced for the game. Poch has now been charged by the FA as expected.
