Expected Juventus Links Surface For Spurs, But Nobody Is Worried Surely

|

With confirmation this week that hugely successful Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri was now moving on from the Italian side, it was only ever going to be a matter of time before Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino was linked with the side.

And the media didn’t disappoint and neither did they take that long to make the incredibly uneducated guess. I’m really not sure here if the media lead the fans or whether social media fed the press to be honest. When the expected stories hit the newsfeeds yesterday, the vast majority of them, on my checking, were referencing Twitter in one shape or form as though that was proof of fact.

I do it myself, as it is a good source of opinion on things, but I assume most take it with a pinch of salt. One thing is for sure though, until Juventus appoint a new gaffer we can expect to see claim and counterclaim fill the airwaves for a bit.

It won’t happen though, if the pull of Real Madrid wasn’t enough for him to abandon the Tottenham Plan, the pull of Ronaldo being the centre of the Universe at Juventus won’t be.
