With Tottenham Hotspur facing London rivals Arsenal later tonight at the Emirates Stadium, manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that he will be again slightly rotating the first team squad and that goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga will come in for another 90 minute appearance.
The 26-year-old Argentine has waited patiently for his chance since being signed by and reunited with Poch, and his Tottenham tally now stands at six appearances going into tonight’s clash. Five of those appearances have come in the campaign of 2018/19 as he worked his way from third choice, into second and it’s not a great surprise to see the newly capped Argentinian international come into the squad for this one.
#thfc Pochettino on tomorrow’s cup tie against Arsenal: “Maybe I surprise you and don’t rotate too much.” Asked whether Gazzaniga will play, he says with a laugh: “Yes he will play. I’m going to rotate!”

Whilst there were some fans who probably need to get their head tested as the moaned about the reveal on social media, the vast majority of Spurs fans were absolutely delighted that he was once again going to get another opportunity to impress.
Soon he’ll be the first choice Keeper

He has a 100% win rate with the club

Good, good, good. He needs a long run in the team especially with the way we now play out from the back. His distribution is far better than Hugo’s is ever going to be.
