Championship Side Keen On Young Tottenham Talent – Deal Would Make Sense

There’s certainly been a clamour amongst Tottenham Hotspur fans to see more of youngster Troy Parrott given his development so far and his performances during our pre-season campaign, and many felt the 17-year-old would see increased game time following the injury to Harry Kane – but maybe sensibly, manager Jose Mourinho hasn’t thrust him in yet – so it’s not a great surprise to see Championship sides like Charlton Athletic expressing an interest in him with the January transfer window coming to a close.

With a couple of appearances under his belt this year, as well as making his senior international debut earlier in the campaign, some real game time would clearly be a benefit to him and according to the Daily Mail, Charlton will tempt their luck, believing that the success they’ve had with youngsters in recent times would tempt our hand.

This one seems to be a no brainer for me and looks like a win, win situation for the lad.
