Report – Spurs Reopen Striker Talks After Previously Cooling Their Interest

|

Earlier this month, Tottenham Hotspur found themselves quite heavily linked with AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek, following him moving down their pecking order after the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but the speculation was a little confused and depending what rumour you read, we were either interested in a loan to buy deal, or a straight capture of the 24-year-old Polish international.

He hasn’t had a great 2019/20 campaign, but his overall stats across his career certainly show he knows where the back of the net is.

With our interest seeming to cool given the claims of a £30million fee and the fact Milan would only do a permanent deal, Italian outlet Calciomercato claimed over the weekend that we had reopened talks with the club over getting a potential deal done now there was only a week left in the window.

They state that no formal offer has yet been made by us, but the implication seems to be that we may soon do so.
