It’s easy to forget that Serge Aurier is still a Tottenham player, yet despite an injury crisis at right-back, it is seemingly likely the defender will remain away from the first-team.

The Guardian report that the Ivorian fullback will not be chosen to replace the injured Kyle Walker-Peters for the upcoming North London Derby, and that Moussa Sissoko or Eric Dier could be played at right-back to facilitate for the injured Tottenham youngster.
A decision like this was naturally met with criticism from Tottenham supporters, and many took to social media to slate Pochettino for his choice to leave a natural right-back out of the squad for the crunch game against Arsenal.
Here is how some Tottenham fans reacted to the news on Twitter…

Exactly why we should never of sold Trippier. He was knackered after playing so much football for Spurs and England. Now he has had a break and a pre season he is showing true form at his new club
